With the continued
goal of building
decent, safe and
affordable homes for disadvantaged families, the Middlesex County
Habitat for Humanity is currently coordination a fundraiser to
coincide with NYC Restaurant week.
We are currently
coordinating a fundraiser to coincide with NYC Restaurant Week. This
event, which is being held July 21-25 and July 28 – August 1, is a
wonderful opportunity to visit some of NYC’s finest restaurants at a
reduced cost. Throughout the city, restaurants will be offering a
three course lunch for $24.07 or/and dinner for $35. We have made
arrangements with Platinum Executive Limo to have a package price to
bring your group to NY and back, with a portion of the proceeds
being donated to Middlesex County Habitat for Humanity.

make the reservations for the restaurant that you would like to
visit. To make your arrangements to go to NYC thru Platinum
Executive Limo, please call 866-LIMO-818. Transportation is
available for lunch or dinners. Habitat will only get donations if
you use their service.
Locally, Villa
Laura Restaurant, 365 Spotswood-Englishtown Rd, Monroe Twp,
732-723-9091 will host a fundraiser from August 4ththru
the 7th and 11th thru the 14th,
which they will donate a portion of their sales to Habitat. This
will include lunch, dinner and catering, eat in or take out.

Construction
- Old Bridge Properties
- 1st Build Day is Scheduled for August 9th
- on the 2 properties in Old Bridge. Permits were submitted and approved.
- Help Needed
Licensed contractors needed for major systems (plumbing, electric, heating etc.) Volunteers with experience in building practices of all types are needed to assist in construction. Skilled and unskilled workers are needed to help and learn construction techniques. Help yourself while helping others - Non construction help
Help will be required to set up tables, serve lunch, clean around job sites, and other tasks.
