Dear Supporting Neighbor:

With the continued goal of building decent, safe and affordable homes for disadvantaged families, the Middlesex County Habitat for Humanity is currently coordination a fundraiser to coincide with NYC Restaurant week.

We are currently coordinating a fundraiser to coincide with NYC Restaurant Week. This event, which is being held July 21-25 and July 28 – August 1, is a wonderful opportunity to visit some of NYC’s finest restaurants at a reduced cost. Throughout the city, restaurants will be offering a three course lunch for $24.07 or/and dinner for $35. We have made arrangements with Platinum Executive Limo to have a package price to bring your group to NY and back, with a portion of the proceeds being donated to Middlesex County Habitat for Humanity.

The list of restaurants can be viewed at http://nycvisit.com/restaurantweek. If you click on the link to   http://www.opentable.com/promo.aspx?pid=69&m=8&ref=903 you can make the reservations for the restaurant that you would like to visit. To make your arrangements to go to NYC thru Platinum Executive Limo, please call 866-LIMO-818. Transportation is available for lunch or dinners. Habitat will only get donations if you use their service.

Locally, Villa Laura Restaurant, 365 Spotswood-Englishtown Rd, Monroe Twp, 732-723-9091 will host a fundraiser from August 4ththru the 7th and 11th thru the 14th, which they will donate a portion of their sales to Habitat. This will include lunch, dinner and catering, eat in or take out.  Please let them know that your order is a Habitat order.

Currently, Middlesex County Habitat for Humanity is building two homes in Old Bridge. We have just received the permits and will begin our build in August. Our fundraising events will help to pay for the building materials of the homes that will go to qualified families in need. If you would be willing to help in any way or to donate, please contact us.

Thank you,
