Volunteer

We welcome anybody that would like to volunteer their time to help us in our efforts.

• Construction — Help with the labor involved in building a home. This includes all aspects of construction and involves working along with other skilled and non-skilled volunteers. If you would like to work on a project along with us, click here.
• Non-Construction — This includes helping at the office, passing out meals at the jobsite, manning booths at fairs and events, speaking at public functions, contacting local businesses for donations, and generally helping where needed. We also have several committees that need volunteer staff. If you would like to be on one of our committees please click here.

• Development — Involved in fund raising events, grant writing, public relations, etc.
• Church Relations — Involved in speaking at and getting help from local churches, partnering with churches and places of worship, etc.
• Family Nurturing — Works with the family once they move into their new home to ensure a smooth transition.
• Family Selection — Decides on the families who will be purchasing our homes and assists in the application process.
• Building — Helps with decisions on which contractors to use, works with the construction manager, and helps set a budget and timeline for the project.
• Site Selection — Helps locate acceptable properties to be rehabilitated or rebuilt.
• Board of Directors — The purpose of the board is to keep thing moving and to make sure all processes and paperwork is in place to keep the other committees moving forward and keep track of progress of each committee.
